Woman in desperate plea to dog snatcher

A DISTRAUGHT dog owner is suffering from sleepless nights after her treasured Yorkshire Terrier was snatched from outside a Birmingham Post Office.

Police are investigating the pet abduction, which happened in Rookery Road, Handsworth, between 1pm and 3pm on Friday, September 5.

The terrier was snatched from outside a Post Office branch in the street after he escaped from his owner's back garden.

Aneta Gitano was hanging up washing when her beloved 11-year-old pet, called Bombel, escaped from her back garden.

The 50-year-old chased after Bombel but she says the Terrier was snatched by a man outside the Post Office.

Aneta is calling on the abductor to give back her dog, who has been by her side for more than a decade.
