Villa are on Reds alert as Ramsey tops Prem rivals' list!

NOTTINGHAM Forest have identified Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey as a 'primary summer target' as they seek to reinforce a squad currently being chipped away at by their Premier League rivals.
The Reds, who could join Villa in the Europa League if they are given the place denied Crystal Palace after last week's UEFA ruling, have already lost Anthony Elanga to Newcastle.
They are also involved in a transfer tussle with Tottenham, who have activated Morgan Gibbs-White's £60 million release clause - a fact Forest are not happy about and one that has seen them report Spurs to the Premier League.
However, it is still eminently possible Gibbs-White does join Spurs, leaving Forest looking to improve a squad that already required underpinning ahead of the extra demands of European football.
The Birmingham Mail understands they have alighted upon Ramsey, who has been identified as someone who could play in an advanced role in Nuno Espirito Santo's 4-2-3-1 setup.
