PARENTS LEFT 'SCARED AND CONFUSED' AFTER SYMPTOMS ESCALATED
OLSEN Warren was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia - a rare cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow after his 'constant tonsillitis' wouldn't go away
Despite being given around eight courses of antibiotics for tonsillitis by his GP, by July, the two-year-old’s symptoms had escalated to the point where he was unable to walk, leaving his parents “scared and confused”.
His mum, Rebecca Jennings, 26, insisted on a blood test at the GP’s office, leading to a referral to Worcestershire Hospital on July 9.
The next day, little Olsen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia - a rare form of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.
