Police urge people to beef up security after doors kicked in

A COMMUNITY has been urged to invest in CCTV after a group of burglars were filmed kicking in doors in Bordesley Green.

The burglars were seen trying to break-in to residents’ homes by booting in doors last week.
Police said the group was successful in gaining entry to at least one property in St Oswald's Road, where a car was stolen.
Two break-in attempts were also reported in Heather Road - a short two-minute drive away from St Oswald's.
