Firm fined £8k after employee injured

A FIRM has been fined £8,000 after a worker was struck by a pack of steel sheet and seriously injured.
-
The employee had been working alone in a warehouse at a Lye steel stockholder when the incident happened.
They had been lifting packs of steel sheet and loading them onto a lorry using a three-tonne overhead crane and grab attachments when they were hit.
