TILES GIVE SUBWAY A BRIGHT NEW LOOK

A NEGLECTED pedestrian subway in Birmingham city centre has been given a "vibrant" makeover thanks to a £120,000 project.
The project, aimed at improving safety, connectivity and aesthetic appeal, has reimagined the Livery Street subway, near Snowhill Station, with a stunning installation made from colourful ceramic tiles, designed by Adam Nathaniel Furman.
The work was commissioned by Colmore Business District (BID), in partnership with Moda Living, Birmingham City Council and the Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District (BID).
