Listed firms' dividends up 18% in first 8 months

Listed Thai companies paid dividends of nearly 500 billion baht in the first eight months of 2025, up 18% year-on-year, led by the banking, energy and ICT sectors.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) reported 563 listed companies on the SET and Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) paid 499 billion baht in dividends from January to August. Most companies paid dividends once during this period, while 30 companies distributed them twice.
Compared with the same period in 2024, the number of dividend payments decreased slightly from 605 to 593, while the total dividend value increased by 18%, from 423 billion baht to 499 billion.
Dividend payments were concentrated from March to May, considered the peak dividend season.
