Security tightened ahead of Shah’s visit for zonal council meet
RANCHI: Security has been beefed up in Jharkhand capital Ranchi with traffic diversions, auto-rickshaw and goods vehicle restrictions in place ahead of Union home minister Amit Shah’s arrival in Ranchi on Wednesday evening to chair the 27th meeting of the Eastern Zonal Council on July 10, where around 70 representatives, including chief ministers, cabinet ministers, and senior officials from the four eastern states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal, are expected to participate, people aware of the development said.
