HARTPURY’S Harry Short is hoping his side can build on last season’s impressive campaign and keep pushing the full-time teams at the top
The Championship has four full-time teams – Jersey Reds, Ealing Trailfinders, Coventry and Cornish Pirates – the other eight are semi-professional parttime outfits.
Hartpury equalled their club record finish of seventh last season, including an eightgame win streak that included victories over Coventry and Pirates.
Openside flanker Short, 24, is hoping for more of the same this season.
