Ex-Wasps buzzing for European glory

THIBAUD Flament has risen from Loughborough University's fifth team to become a French international with the intention of next weekend becoming a Champions Cup winner again.
Flament, 27, took up rugby in Belgium and went from playing fly-half in BUCS Four to starting second row for France in last year's World Cup.
The 6ft 8ins lock/flanker signed for Wasps in 2019, making 16 appearances, but quickly earned himself a move to European giants Toulouse in 2020, where he has since become a regular in the five-time Champions Cup winners' star-studded pack.
Flament has reunited with his former Wasps teammate Jack Willis in the south of France and the pair will look to make their mark at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday against Leinster after playing an integral part in their semi-final victory over Harlequins.
