Dombrandt: We don't fear anyone

ALEX Dombrandt is not feeling sorry for himself after missing out on the World Cup as he looks to help get Harlequins back to the top after two inconsistent campaigns

The England No.8 was an ever-present in England’s Six Nations campaign this year and started the first of their World Cup warm-ups, but he did not make it to France after only one specialist in the position was chosen, Billy Vunipola.

 

“It has been an interesting year for me,” said Dombrandt. “I had nine weeks with England and then returned to Harlequins who were really good at slotting me back in.

“It is a club I love and they look after me. I am keen to work hard and add to the team. I am not using what happened with England as extra motivation.

“I am motivated to do well every season, not just because I was left out of a squad. We have a good squad here and the aim this season is to become more consistent and make sure we are challenging at the end.
