This year · marks the grand celebration of its 54th edition, and with each passing year, the festival's magnitude only continues to expand. In my discussion with the festival's CEO, Ms. Ankita Mishra, we delved into the plans for this year's extravaganza. Here's a glimpse of our conversation: Ankita Mishra, the CEO of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), has recently assumed her role, yet her swift accumulation of knowledge within a short period is remarkable. Initially trained as a Computer Science engineer with aspirations for a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence (Al) in the USA, Ankita's life took a turn when she decided to remain in India, leading her to undertake the UPSC exams. For Ankita, success in the UPSC exams is the culmination of sheer hard work and a stroke of luck.

"I belong to the 18th Batch of IAS and began my journey through the district training in Daman. Shortly after, I was transferred to Delhi, where I commenced my role as SDM at Saket Sub Division in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), marking my first promotion," she shared. Following this tenure, she was relocated to Goa.
