Since 2016, print artist Jake Garfield has been carving his own path in the art world. 'I work across printmaking, drawing and painting: each brings with it a different way of working, a different thought process and a different aesthetic,' he says. 'One thing they all share is a colour palette of earthy reds, dusty peaches and deep greens. Pattern and mark-making are important aspects - creating visual textures that run along the surface of the picture.'
