A Festive Evergreen Holiday

Nestled just outside the small town of Gray, Georgia, Kassie Keck's ranch-style home sits on four acres of peaceful countryside. It's the house she and her husband bought back in December of 2000, and over the past twenty-five years, they have transformed it into a cozy cottage brimming with character.

"This place has deep roots for me," Kassie shares. She grew up in the area where many of her family still live, including her parents. Her husband's journey was a little longer, from California to Washington before settling down in Georgia. Together, they've raised two children, now grown, who still often find their way home, along with Bentley and Rosey, the family's lively pair of Corgis who keep them on their toes.

Renovation is a constant labor of love in the house, especially now that Kassie and her husband are tackling a full kitchen remodel themselves. But during the holidays, the focus shifts from hammers and sawdust to twinkling lights and timeless traditions.
