Yoga offers a valuable "digital detox," promoting a balanced and mindful life by helping individuals disconnect from screens and reconnect with themselves.
The Challenge of Over-connection: Excessive screen time can lead to various issues, including reduced focus, poor posture, isolation, stress, fatigue, disrupted sleep, and increased anxiety.
Many find themselves reflexively checking phones, reducing face-to-face interactions impacting interpersonal skills.
In such a scenario rather than avoiding technology that has helped mankind bring the world to everyone's doorstep, we can adapt by setting boundaries and integrating discipline through practices like yoga, which support a balanced relationship with digital use.
Yoga as a Path to digital detox: Yoga provides a holistic approach to wellness-physically, mentally, and spiritually. Incorporating yoga in our digitized lives helps instil self-discipline, using a combination of practices such as Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, and meditation.
