ROYALLY big birthdays 2025

Princess Charlotte's time to shine

On 2 May 2025, it will be a special day for the Prince and Princess of Wales, as their only daughter, Charlotte, will turn 10.

There's an exciting few years ahead for the Wales' second born, as it's thought that Charlotte could head to Marlborough College, where her mum studied.

imageWhile Prince Harry claimed he worried that either Charlotte or Louis would 'end up like' him - being 'the spare' - it seems Charlotte's parents will be doing their utmost to make sure that won't happen.

As royal expert Katie Nicholl explains, 'William and Kate are channelling everything they can into raising their children with that understanding of who they are as royals and as just ordinary children too. Of course, it does open up the question of the next spare, of Princess Charlotte. And I'm sure that William and Kate have that all worked out.' It's no secret that William and Kate have done their best to keep their children out of the spotlight as much as possible. Other than official portraits on their birthdays and the odd public appearance, we're not used to seeing too much of Charlotte and her brothers throughout the year.

imageSo what could the future hold for the princess? She's already found herself growing up in a much more modern world than previous sisters of the heir to the throne. In 2013, the law was changed to scrap male-preference primogeniture meaning she wouldn't be passed over in the line of succession for a male heir.

MIRROR, MIRROR...

Not feeling your best? Even if you think you eat well, you might be falling short of all the vitamins and minerals you need.
