From soulmates and fairy tales to scandals, affairs and divorces, the Royal Family are no strangers to epic and complicated love stories. We've watched them unfold on The Crown, cheered on their lavish weddings, waited with baited breath for the arrival of their little princes and princesses, and rooted for their happy endings. So, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, we take a look at the oh-so-royal romances that still have us hooked

WILLIAM & CATHERINE From friendship to family superstars
In a heartfelt video released last September, the Princess of Wales revealed she had completed her course of preventative chemotherapy and was focused on staying 'cancer free'. Kate also revealed so much more by sharing this intimate peek into her world.
The family-centred three-minute film was designed to illustrate how close, loving and attentive Kate and William are - both as a couple, and as parents to George, Charlotte and Louis.
After what William called his most 'brutal' year, he was very glad to let supporters know that his beloved wife's daily life and health were slowly getting back to normal.
The couple will be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary in April 2025 and royal commentator Victoria Arbiter believes that the middle-class stability of Kate has been the making of William.
'Kate brings William the same sense of calm and security as Camilla brings to the King. She is an emotional and physical tower of strength. He knows she's got his back, and vice versa. That's where the strength lies in the future,' she says.
