Makeup maven Bobbi Brown says you can embrace your age and still put your best face forward. Here's how.
For some, the visible signs of aging can be, well, a bummer. But for beauty industry veteran Bobbi Brown, those laugh lines and wrinkles are signs of living. The 65-year-old says she feels great about aging and you can too.
"My father taught me the best thing. He said, 'You can't always control the situation but you can control your attitude," says Brown, the founder of Jones Road Beauty and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. That's why instead of dreading her birthdays, Brown leans into them, and she hopes others will do the same. "I think too many people feel bad about aging, and it creates an ongoing negativity in your life," she says.
