AHEAD of Vitafoods Asia, Informa Markets held a panel discussion on July 29, 2025 to define priorities for scaling credible, research-backed nutraceutical products across the Asia-Pacific region.

Rungphech Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director - ASEAN at Informa Markets noted the scale and momentum of the Asia-Pacific nutraceutical sector, saying that the current market growth reflects a shift toward preventive healthcare and wellness, a trend gaining particular importance as populations confront lifestyle-related health challenges.

In Thailand, Vitafoods Asia has been the setting for local businesses to benchmark their capabilities against global leaders and directly connect with buyers, suppliers, and innovation partners. The New Ingredients & New Products Zone showcases breakthrough food supplements, functional ingredients, and health solutions from around the world. “The constant growth in the Asia-Pacific’s food supplement and nutraceutical markets clearly reflects a transition toward preventive healthcare,” she said, adding that businesses that align with this trend can position themselves for sustained growth. Her perspective stresses that participation in Vitafoods Asia is not only about visibility but also about converting global interest into concrete business outcomes, whether through OEM/ODM partnerships, distribution agreements, or collaborative R&D initiatives.
