British Champions Day is always a highlight of the horse-racing calendar, but there’s even more reason to tune in this Saturday as legendary flat jockey Frankie Dettori rides for the last time in the UK before continuing his career in the United States.

The 52-year-old is expected to feature in most of the Ascot event’s six races – including the Champions Stakes and the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes – as the country’s very best horses, jockeys and trainers compete for prize money of £4 million in Britain’s richest race day.
