1 SKIP OOTY, VISIT MASINAGUDI 

Masinagudi is a picturesque hill station in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiri district. The summer season, from March to June, is an ideal time to visit. During this time, there is a good chance of spotting a tiger as well. Part of the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, it is only one hour from the more popular hill station of Ooty, also known as Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam. Masinagudi has the same climatic setting but fewer tourists. Pykara Falls, Mudumalai National Park and Maravakandy Dam, which are popular attractions from Ooty and Coonoor, are located closer to Masinagudi.
