Digital Studio
|December 2024
The LPX500 Hybrid IP/SDI Waveform Monitor introduces a compact, versatile solution for advanced video and audio analysis in both SDI and IP workflows. Designed for broadcast and production, it combines powerful multi-source support, remote access, and real-time diagnostics to enhance efficiency in diverse media environments.
-
COMPACT AND VERSATILE DESIGN FOR ANY WORKSPACE
The LPX500 Hybrid IP/SDI Waveform Monitor is crafted for modern broadcast environments that demand both power and portability. Housed in a compact, re-designed form factor, it features an intuitive 8-inch touchscreen, perfect for spaces with limited rack depth like OB trucks. An additional independent 8-inch touchscreen can be connected via USB-C, expanding the user interface and control options. Using integrated noVNC technology, users can remotely access both displays over a network, giving unparalleled flexibility for remote production setups.
ADVANCED QUAD 12G-SDI AND DUAL 100GE-IP INPUTS
Engineered for simultaneous multi-source analysis, the LPX500 supports up to four independent 4K video inputs, enabling workflows that require HDR and SDR, or a mix of SDI and IP signals. Built with a 10GIP toolset and dual SDI analyzer support, the LPX500 accommodates a wide array of formats, including SD/HD/3G/6G/12G-SDI and IP interfaces up to 100GE, meeting SMPTE standards like 2022-6 and ST 2110. With optional software licenses, users can further enhance the monitor’s capabilities to support UHD/4K, HDR, and expanded IP functions for broadcast environments.
COMPREHENSIVE AUDIO AND VIDEO GENERATION AND ANALYSIS
Equipped for both generation and analysis, the LPX500 manages SDR/HDR, YCbCr/RGB, HD/3G/6G/12G SDI, and UHD IP formats. The instrument provides comprehensive support for ST 2110-20 video, audio, and ANC data flows, and can simultaneously handle and compare audio, video, and ANC data across redundant networks. The LPX500’s ST 20227 functionality enables seamless protection switching, comparing video, audio, and ANC flows from A and B network paths, which is ideal for redundancy in live broadcast and production workflows.
