Farzin Najmi has taken on the role of Head of Technology & Media Operations at JioStar India Pvt Ltd.,

India's largest media and entertainment conglomerate formed mid-November 2024 through the merger of Viacom18 and Disney Star. Headquartered in Mumbai, JioStar operates over 180 linear television channels including StarPlus, Colors TV, MTV, and Star Sports, and operates the Digital OTT platform - JioHotstar, a leading streaming platform with a vast library of Indian and international content.
In his role, Farzin oversees a broad and interconnected portfolio: Enterprise IT & Applications and Sports Technology, uniting core enterprise systems with real-time broadcast operations.
Farzin highlighted the strategic benefit of this integrated approach, stating, "The advantage is, we're close to the business, understand what's needed, and can address and respond quickly.
