Sarah, Duchess of York made her debut as a Loose Women panellist last week, urging women not to miss their mammogram appointments.

Sarah told viewers of the ITV daytime show that she “would not be sitting here if I hadn’t gone”, as she helped to launch the show’s Don’t Skip Your Screening breast cancer campaign.

Her first TV appearance since announcing her own diagnosis with the disease in June came days after she was the guest of honour at Dinner with the Duchess, a gala event for the V Foundation cancer charity in San Francisco, California.

SHOUTING LOUD

Sitting alongside regular hosts Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards, she said: “I really want to shout about this. Don’t skip your screening appointment, because I would not be sitting here if I hadn’t gone.”
