Simon Cowell hosts VIP guests as he launches his new series and boyband - and tells us how the seven singers are 'like brothers' to his son

At a star-studded event to launch his new TV project, Simon Cowell made sure he had his nearest and dearest by his side.

The music mogul, 66, posed proudly for pictures with his glamorous fiancee, Lauren, to mark the release of Netflix's documentary series The Next Act. The couple, who got engaged in 2021, were joined at the Ham Yard Hotel in London by their son Eric, 11, as well as some of their closest friends.

Also on the guest list were Alesha Dixon, one of Simon's co-stars on Britain's Got Talent, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli and the seven members of the boyband put together by Simon in his new show: Hendrik Christoffersen, Cruz Lee-Ojo, John Fadare, Nicolas Alves, Josh Olliver, Danny Bretherton and Sean Hayden.
