As a proud mother and grandmother, family is never far from Sarah, Duchess of York’s mind – and that was certainly the case when the author and charity campaigner attended a glittering event in Colombia’s capital city, Bogotá, last week.

Catching up with ¡HOLA! TV at the Fernando Montaño gala at the Colón Theatre, Sarah opened up about becoming a grandmother for the third time, revealing when younger daughter Princess Eugenie’s second child should arrive.

“The baby is due by the end of May, I think. So it’s any minute now,” said Sarah, who is also “granny” to Eugenie’s two-year-old son August and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna, one.

“I’m probably one of the best grannies ever, the best abuela [Spanish for grandmother] ever, because I think like a three-year-old,” added Sarah, a best-selling children’s author.

“I’ve written 48 children’s books and I’ve flown helicopters – Budgie the Helicopter and Little Red. And so, I’m wanting to actually write a book about a bouncy football, now…” Sarah, who shares daily videos for young viewers on her YouTube channel
