HEATING UP LONDON'S LEICESTER SQUARE 'MOANA 2' PREMIERE STARS AND FAMOUS FANS OF THE BIGSCREEN HIT TURN OUT IN TROPICAL STYLE

There may have been storms across the country but on the blue carpet, it was an island paradise.

The stars of hotly anticipated animated film Moana 2 were joined by other famous faces at the movie's UK premiere, where London's Leicester Square was transformed into a palm treefilled Polynesia for the occasion.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who voices super-powered hero Maui in the movie, came to London to attend, posing for photographers with his co-star Auli'i Cravalho, who reprises the title role in the sequel.

"Maui is actually a demigod," former WWE star Dwayne said of his character. "The difference is that wrestlers think they're demigods, but they're not. I know that because I was one of them."
