Two of Britain's most prominent families are united in the society wedding of the year
Lady Violet Manners, the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, married Viscount Garnock, William Lindesay-Bethune – son of the Earl and Viscountess of Lindsay – in what many have called the high society wedding of 2025.
Taking place at her family home, Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, the day was the epitome of refined countryside romance, brimming with elegance and symbolism.
The celebrations began with an intimate ceremony at Bottesford village church. The night before, Lady Violet set the tone for a stylish weekend by wearing a thrifted dress from the now-defunct label The Vampire's Wife – once a favourite of royals including the Princess of Wales and Princess Beatrice.
