Supermodel Elle Macpherson sprinkled some festive stardust at the inaugural Christmas at Sudeley event last week.

Dressed in a glamorous green gown, Elle was joined by film, stage and TV star Jeremy Irons at the black-tie event, which brought together international art buyers, philanthropists, socialites and celebrities to raise money for children's charity WellChild.

Hosted by Elizabeth, Lady Ashcombe at Sudeley Castle, her home in Cheltenham, guests were treated to a private performance by dancers from the Royal Ballet and Christmas carols sung by Cheltenham College Choir.

They were also given the chance to enjoy a VIP tour of the renowned Spectacle of Light illuminated trail, which opens at the estate every year for Christmas.
