It has been one of the most talked-about music events in decades and last week, Paris sparkled in an explosion of light, sound and sequins as Taylor Swift kicked off the European leg of The Eras Tour in the City of Love.
As excited fans queued at La Défense Arena in the western suburb of Nanterre, even the Eiffel Tower appeared to have caught Swiftie fever, with a radio station posting footage of giant friendship bracelets apparently falling from the sky and encircling the structure, with the message: “Welcome to France Taylor Swift.”
Taylor, 34, certainly didn’t disappoint fans who were lucky enough to secure the hottest ticket in town.
Over three hours, the superstar performed 46 tracks, including hits Shake it Off, I Knew You Were Trouble and We Are Never Ever Getting Back
