He turns 80 next month, but Sir Rod Stewart shows no sign of letting his sartorial crown slip as he approaches his landmark birthday, still shimmying around in a variety of flamboyant outfits that have been his trademark ever since he first found fame.

And while his fans get great pleasure from seeing him peacocking on stage with his outre outfits, the singer who once asked: "Do ya think I'm sexy?" gets just as much enjoyment from his wardrobe.

"I believe it's all part of showbusiness and I love clothes and always have even when I had no money," he said last year as he took his social media followers on a video tour of his dressing room in Las Vegas, where he has a long-term residency.

Never one to shy away from accessorising with a feather or a sequin, Rod - who shares sons Alastair, 18, and 13-year-old Aiden with wife Penny Lancaster - delivers on the style front wherever he goes.
