United unveils a sophisticated new Polaris lounge

UNITED AIRLINES UNVEILED a new and improved Polaris lounge at its Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) hub.

It's a welcome boost to the preflight experience for Polaris and Star Alliance premium cabin passengers traveling through this busy gateway—an airport not exactly brimming with style or space. In addition to being 50-percent larger, the updated space features improved relaxation areas, a sophisticated dining room and new speakeasy-style bar.

Location

The lounge, open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., is next to gate C18 in Terminal 1. You'll find the entrance across from the escalators for the neon-lit underground tunnel connecting concourses B and C.

Access Options

The lounge is available to passengers traveling internationally in United Polaris business class or select premium cabins with Star Alliance partner airlines.
