The first-ever roadster from Maybach redefines the concept of a luxury sportscar

Mercedes-Maybach's new roadster, the SL 680 Monogram Edition, is an ode to opulence and extravagance. The double-M moniker has graced only the very best of Mercedes-Benz's luxury automobiles for decades and the SL 680 Monogram Edition, bearing a price tag of ₹4.2 crore ex-showroom, is the company's first-ever open-top two-seater vehicle to get the Maybach treatment. The car is only available in either 'Red Ambiance' (Garnet Red Metallic) or 'White Ambiance' (Opalite White Magno) colourways. The signature Maybach grille with its delicate, vertical slats is a statement piece, glistening in chrome by the day and glowing softly (courtesy of being illuminated) at evenfall. Chrome can be found in abundance on the bumpers and garnish as well as the windscreen frame.
