The Ferrari Testarossa is back in a brand-spanking-new avatar!

Not once but twice! Can you imagine an Aston Martin Redhead? Or a Volkswagen Roter Kopf?? But when Ferrari calls one of its cars Testarossa, we trip over ourselves. This is something only the Italians could get away with (a different Italian manufacturer of two-door cars once called its first four-door car just that, 'Four-door'). That aside, the reason the original Testarossa was named thus was because of its rosso corsa cam covers, a tradition that continues in the new 849 Testarossa, replacing the SF90 Stradale. Those cam covers are mounted on top of the F154FC 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with hybrid assist, pumping out 830PS and 842Nm from the petrol engine, which, combined with 220PS from an electric motor, makes for a total system output of 1,050PS.
