When Ed asked me to review the Hero Xoom 125, I couldn't have been happier.

With a 20km one-way commute to the office, easily the longest in the office, this was the perfect opportunity to see how a scooter like the Xoom 125 would hold up day to day.

What made it even more exciting was that it ticked both boxes: it promised to be lighter on the wallet thanks to its ARAI-claimed 53.4kmpl mileage, and its sporty, agile nature which should make it ideal for filtering through Pune's chaotic traffic. Adding to the appeal were a bunch of thoughtful features that should make the commute that much easier.
