The Volkswagen Taigun is designed to make you go on adventures

Launched four years ago, the Taigun was quick to become a hit with SUV buyers, being the first product to get launched under Volkswagen's India 2.0 strategy. Volkswagen modified its all-conquering MQB platform to create the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform that underpins the Taigun, and is engineered to deal with our harsh driving conditions. The Taigun comes with two engine options, the 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI, both of which are capable of helping the SUV take on open highways, steep mountain passes, deserts and even the forest trails our varied and beautiful nation is known for. Its 188mm ground clearance ensures there's little to worry about when driving on broken roads, or when traversing off the beaten track.
