Xiaomi extends its expertise from smartphones to cars

Xiaomi showcased its entry into the automotive industry with the Xiaomi EV Technology Launch, introducing five key technologies integral to the EV lineup: E-Motor, Battery, Die-Casting, Pilot Autonomous Driving, and Smart Cabin. Xiaomi's first EV, the SU7, was also previewed, offering a glimpse into its design, performance, and features.

Xiaomi's self-developed E-Motors, HyperEngine V6/V6s and HyperEngine V8s, were highlighted at the event. The HyperEngine V8s has set a global record for E-motors and will be produced from 2025.
