We got our hands on the Trailhound tyres for a long-term review

We tested the Trailhound SCR tyres on various motorcycles at the launch event near Bangalore, and came away impressed. So when we were asked if we would like to review them long-term, I knew I had to try them on a bigger and more powerful motorcycle. And we had the perfect mule, our in-house Suzuki V-Strom 650. We decided to go for the stock 150/70 R17 for the rear and 100/90-19 for the front instead of the stock 110/80-19 for a slightly lighter front. The 80:20 road to off-road ratio felt perfect for the day-to-day rides and also for the occasional gravel path.
