VinFast is all-set to enter India's rapidly-evolving EV scene with its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs this festive season.

After making a huge splash at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, VinFast has laid out a concrete plan for its entry into the Indian automobile market. With India being one of the most lucrative markets today, given the high volumes possible, VinFast has been working on its India plans for the past couple of years now. It's interesting to note that VinFast is a relatively new name in the EV space globally, but the Vietnamese manufacturer is keen on setting foot in India, one of the largest automobile markets globally, given not just the size, but also the rapidly evolving EV scene. Come to think of it, VinFast is less than a decade old as a car maker - it commenced operations as recently as 2017! That said, VinFast has been terrifically quick to expand and after dabbling briefly with some internal combustion engine-powered models it switched to a pure-EV portfolio less than three years ago, in 2022.
