Meet Hitachi's ZX690LCH-7 and ZX890LCH-7 excavators: part of the company's Zaxis-7 series, designed to deliver enhanced performance, efficiency, and operator comfort for demanding construction and mining applications.
-
Hitachi continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the construction and earth-moving industry with the release of the ZX690LCH-7, a heavy-duty excavator designed to deliver outstanding performance, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort.
This latest addition to the ZX-7 series embodies Hitachi's commitment to advanced technology, reliability, and cost-effective operations, ensuring that contractors and fleet operators receive maximum productivity with lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
Power and performance
National Product Manager David Gallina said that at the heart of the ZX690LCH-7 was a robust 348 kW (ISO14396) engine that provides immense power to handle demanding job site conditions.
"Equipped with the HIOS-V hydraulic system, this machine offers improved fuel efficiency while maintaining high productivity," he said.
"The advanced system optimises oil pressure loss, reducing fuel consumption without compromising on power."
The ZX690LCH-7 also boasts an impressive operating weight range of 69,400-71,400 kg, ensuring stability and durability in tough environments. Its backhoe bucket capacity ranges from 2.9 to 4.0 m³, making it suitable for large-scale excavation and earth-moving tasks.
