The C5 was formerly known as the Omoda 5 but has been rebranded for 2025 because Omoda is being spun out into a separate brand.

Priced from $29,990 drive-away, the five-door compact SUV is available in two variants, from the entry-level Urban or pricier Ultimate, the latter costing $34,990 drive-away.
Both come with a powered driver's seat, smart key entry, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen incorporating wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It pays to know your way around that screen because things can get busy diving into menus and figuring out how to do sometimes basic tasks.
All models also come with a suite of active safety tech that incorporates auto braking in forward and reverse, blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition and adaptive cruise control.
