Krupa Zubin spotlights cherished possessions in her home that define the elusive idea of luxury for her

Krupa Zubin's home is shaped by love, lived experience, and the keen eye of a smart collector. "Luxury, to me, is about living with the pieces in my collection," says Krupa. "Each object I surround myself with is chosen with care, balancing design, functionality, and emotional resonance," she says.
As founding partner of the AD100 firm ZZ Architects and helming her eponymous lifestyle label, Krupa's work lends naturally to the pursuit of beautiful objects. It is also informed by her travels across the world—with a particular reverence for Japanese culture and craftsmanship—and an appreciation for the shared relationship between art and design. These anchor this selection of 12 things hand-picked by Krupa from her home and wardrobe that serve as conduits of memory, stories, and self-discovery. "Both longstanding favourites and recent acquisitions, these bring a quiet sense of joy, making every space feel truly my own," she adds.
THE ORIGINAL PTOLOMEO BOOKSHELF OPINION CIATTI
A true design icon, the Ptolomeo bookshelf's gravity-defying structure turns a collection of books into an art installation. Books are more than just knowledge they are companions-and this shelf displays them in a way that feels sculptural and effortless.
BOOTS RICK OWENS
Fashion, much like design, is about expression. My Rick Owens boots are an extension of that philosophy-bold, structured, and unapologetically distinct. They carry a sense of rebellion yet feel timeless, much like Owens' architectural approach to clothing.

COUTURIER GAURAV GUPTA'S FIRST-EVER BRIDAL SHOW IN MUMBAI REFLECTED HIS SINGULAR YET TOTAL APPROACH TO DESIGN.
We're not only dressing for the bride of today, but for the bride of tomorrow,” says Delhi-based couturier Gaurav Gupta about Quantum Entanglement, his debut bridal collection named after the phenomenon in quantum physics which binds two particles together for eternity. Futuristic and avant-garde, the collection keeps up with his signature combination of Western wear-inspired gowns with South Asian influences of the sari and lehenga, usage of artisanal Indian woven textiles such as Banarasi brocades and the nuanced play between fluidly sculpting drapery and letting it flow.
