Are you ready to make up for lost time?
Our lives were swiftly put on hold as the pandemic swept across the globe. Of course, our health and wellbeing is the main priority, but it is only natural to crave some of life’s little luxuries and miss the social activities which once filled our calendar.

As the vaccine is rolled out and we get closer to ‘normality’, experts predict a boom in the economy as the world’s door is flung open and restrictions are lifted. This happened 100 years ago, when the Great War was won and Spanish flu eradicated. It went down in history as the ‘Roaring 20s’, when the surging economy caused a boom in consumerism – and some think we are about to experience the same economic prosperity and social buzz.
Already in 2021, there’s been a rush of over-50s booking holidays abroad and making social plans post-vaccine. Woman speaks to one lady who is already planning her party outfit.
