Inter-District Gang Involved in Night Thefts Arrested at Singareni Quarters Bhupalpally
In the past one month, a series of nighttime burglaries occurred in the Ghanpur Mandal, Bhupalpally, and Manuguru areas, targeting houses locked at night. Cases were registered regarding these incidents under the jurisdiction of Ghanpur Bhupalpally Police Station. To control these continuous thefts, Bhupalpally District Police Officer Mr. Kiran Kare, IPS, directed Bhupalpally Sub-Divisional Officer Mr. A. Sampath Rao to take action. Under his guidance, Chityala Cl Mallesh, Bhupalpally Cl Naresh, and CCS Cl Venkateshwarulu formed a special team. These special teams worked diligently for the past 15 days, maintaining constant surveillance. Using technology and CCTV footage, along with credible information, the police managed to trace the culprits. Today, based on a tip-off received by Ghanpur SI, the police team was conducting vehicle checks near the petrol bunk in Mailaram village. When they tried to stop an Ertiga vehicle, it attempted to escape. The alert police team intercepted the vehicle and took six individuals into custody.
