All Rhodes Lead Up The Table For Happier Saracens

A MAN-of-the-match performance from Michael Rhodes allied to a game-changing 34-minute cameo from Mako Vunipola ensured Saracens head into the new year in second place after quelling gallant Worcester in a ten-try thriller at Allianz Park.

Rhodes was superb throughout, carrying hard and offloading at will, but it was the impact of their bench that turned the match, with England prop Vunipola in the vanguard as Jackson Wray and Nathan Earle claimed second-half try-doubles.

Saracens supremo Mark McCall said: “Our intensity levels were nowhere near where they needed to be in the first-half. It needed to go up and it did, and in the second-half from 50 to 75 minutes we played outstandingly well.”
