Everton’s proud list of Academy graduates expanded again recently, with several names added to the ever-growing board at USM Finch Farm.

Academy Success Continues

Following Beni Baningime’s first-team debut in October, Morgan Feeney followed suit in November before five players to come through the Club’s youth system made their senior bows in the 3-0 win over Apollon Limassol earlier this month.

Here, we take a look at those promising young stars in more detail…

Morgan Feeney Date of debut: 23 November 2017 (v Atalanta) Aged: 18 years 288 days

Lifelong Evertonian Morgan Feeney has been with the Blues since the age of seven, having previously spent time at neighbours Liverpool.

Strong in the tackle and in the air, coach David Unsworth described Feeney as “from the Dave Watson school of defending”.

Turning 18, the Bootle-born defender was one of the youngest members of Unsworth’s Under-23s squad that lifted the Premier League 2 title in 2016/17.

Despite becoming an integral player for the Under-23s, Feeney retains his Season Ticket in the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street.

He travelled with the first team to Lyon for a UEFA Europa League group match in November 2017, and made his senior debut when coming on as a substitute against Atalanta at Goodison in the same competition on 23 November 2017.

Two weeks later, Feeney earned his maiden first-team start in Everton’s 3-0 group-stage victory against Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.

Harry Charsley Date of debut: 7 December 2017 (v Apollon Limassol) Aged: 21 years 36 days

Harry Charsley continued his impressive journey through Everton’s ranks in 2016/17.
