My goal was to highlight our antique Victorian-era piano in our French-inspired music parlor. I placed my collection of vintage mirrors, candlesticks and books on the top of the piano, while greens, ornaments and silk ribbon add touches of Christmas. I love a traditional style tree in the corner of this room and dressed it in natural wood-beaded garland and a favorite mercury ornament collection. Candles, faux fur and knit textures bring the cozy into this space, which was designed to be a relaxing retreat for quiet moments of music and reading.
