Fine art photographer Hengki Koentjoro’s newly released book Monohydra captures the underwater world and its magnificent creatures in a series of black and white photos. The award-winning Indonesian photographer has shot a series of his diving experiences in several diving spots around Indonesia. The surreal and dramatic showcase of the deep marine life harks back to his childhood in Semarang, Central Java, where he was introduced to his first camera at age 11.
