Around 300,000 visitors will flock to Royal Ascot this week to witness world-class thoroughbreds compete over five days of British flat racing at its very best.
This year will see a record £7,305,000 in prize money awarded, with six races on each of the five days including the highlight of the week, Thursday’s Gold Cup, which promises to be a close contest between Order of St George and Stradivarius.
