Following a successful pilot in 2014 and first series in 2016, Ashley Jensen is back as our favourite PR-guru-turned amateur-sleuth, solving crimes in the Cotswolds, as Sky One’s Agatha Raisin returns for three new mysteries, each being shown as double bills.

It’s a sunny day as TV&Satellite Week arrives in the picturesque village of Biddestone, where series two is being filmed. As we survey the green fields, we see Jensen heading towards us, dressed in one of Agatha’s trademark outfits and, of course, a pair of killer heels.

Back alongside her for this series are Mathew Horne as Agatha’s trusted aide Roy Silver, Jason Merrells as her close friend Charles Fraith, and Jamie Glover as Agatha’s former fiancé James Lacey, who jilted her at the altar at the end of series one.

Here, Jensen, 49, tells us about what we can expect from the new series…
